NMAT 2023 - Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test
NMAT
NMAT is a national level entrance test conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) for MBA admissions at NMIMS University and other reputed B-Schools in India and abroad. The NMAT exam format and rules are different from most other entrance tests.
NMAT can be taken at the candidate's convenience across 2-3 months from the day of the commencement. Candidates can choose the exam date and venue (preferred centre based on availability or proctored test at home). NMAT by GMAC score is based on the performance of candidates in three sections, namely, Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
Candidates can appear thrice for the test but NMIMS institutes will only consider the score of the first attempt.
Eligibility
•Candidates with Bachelor's degree, with 5 CGPA points or above can appear for the test.
•Candidates should check the eligibility criteria of the MBA college where he/she wants to apply. If the particular MBA college accepts NMAT scores, the candidate should ensure that he/she follows this eligibility criteria to be considered for admission by the respective institute.
•If the test taker registers for NMAT and finds that he/she is not eligible for admission into the desired program or institute, no refund will be made.
Pattern
Candidates can appear thrice for the test, NMIMS institutes will consider only the first attempt but other institutes will consider the best of three.
NMAT allows the candidate to select the preferred order of sections, before starting the test.

Syllabus
Language Skills:
This section is similar to the Verbal Ability section in CAT but also includes vocabulary and grammar-based questions. This section consists of 36 questions to be answered in 28 minutes.
Logical Reasoning:-
The Logical Reasoning Section tests candidates on Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning. This section consists of 36 questions to be answered in 40 minutes.
Quantitative Skills:-
The Quantitative Skills section is similar to the Quantitative ability of CAT and the syllabus is also similar. This section consists of 36 questions to be answered in 52 minutes.
