Registration for CAT 2023 has been officially announced. The exam, conducted by IIM Lucknow this year, will be held on 26^th November 2023.

CAT will be conducted in 155 cities across India and the exam will be held for 2 hours split into three 40-minute sections. The three sections will be VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension), DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning), and QA (Quantitative Aptitude). The registration process for the exam will open on 2^nd August 2023 and is expected to close on 13^th September 2023. IIM Cat. - website link for registration.

Eligibility - To be eligible to write CAT, you must either have a bachelor’s degree or be in your final year, with a minimum of 50% marks or the equivalent CGPA if you are in the General/MBC and OBC category, or 45% marks or the equivalent CGPA if you belong to the SC/ST category.

According to government mandated reservations, 15% seats will be reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 20% for NC-OBC (in the ‘non-creamy’ layer), 10% for EWS candidates and 5% for PwD candidates.
