CAT 2022 results have been announced on IIM CATon December 21, 2022 at 5 pm. Usually the results are out around January, but this year, the CAT committee has published the results early. You can login to the official website IIM and login with your username and password and download your score card.

Around 80 marks are sufficient for 99 percentile this year. This is lower than last year, as the paper was widely considered to be tougher this year.

11 people have scored 100 percentile, 22 people have scored 99.99 percentile, and 22 people have scored 99.98 percentile. This increase is because of the increase in number of CAT takers (approximately 2.2 lakh this year, as compared to approximately 2 lakh in the last year).

The Objection Management window was opened during 1st and 4th December, 2022. They received 113 objections across 3 shifts and 3 sections. Two objections from DILR (one in Slot 2 and one in Slot 3) were accepted. Scores of the candidates in this section in these slots were adjusted on a prorated basis based on their responses on the other questions in this section.

IIMs will release their shortlist and admission process based on the CAT scores and other criteria such as academics, work experience, diversity, etc. About 90 non IIM institutions will use CAT 2022 scores this year. The list of non IIM institutions can be found on IIM CAT.
