
CAT response sheets were out on 1st December 2022, and candidates can view and download them from the
CAT website (
IIM CAT). Candidates can view their response sheets and report objections if any from
11 am 1st December till
5 pm 4th December.
Steps to view and download the CAT 2022 Response sheet:
1. Visit the official
CAT website (
IIM CAT)
2. Click the
Registered Candidate Login button and enter your
User ID and
Password followed by the
Captcha and click on
Login
3. Click on the
Candidate Response, tab. Click
here in
Please click here to download your question paper for CAT 2022 and this will show your response sheet in the
html format.
You can save your response sheet in the
html format by hitting
Ctrl + S or you can download your response sheet in a
pdf format by clicking the
Print button in the top right corner and then clicking Save.
Analyzing the response sheet:
The CAT response sheet consists of all the questions of the respective slots with options, correct answers and marked answers in the following format.
For a MCQ type question all the options are provided below and the correct option will appear in green color along with a green tick on its left, all the other options are red in color along with red cross on the left.

For a Non MCQ type question the
Possible Answer (possible correct answer) is displayed in green color and the
Given Answer (your answer) is displayed below it.
Calculating the Raw score:
You can calculate your Raw score based on the following marking scheme
Marking scheme:
MCQ:
+3 for every Correct answer,
-1 for every Wrong answer,
0 for every Unanswered question.
Non MCQ:
+3 for every Correct answer,
0 for every Wrong answer,
0 for every Unanswered question.
Raw score is not directly considered for final percentile calculation, it will be subjected to normalization by IIM Bangalore for final percentile calculation.
Objections:
If not satisfied with the answers considered as correct by the exam conducting authority you can raise your objection by filling an objection form. An application fee of Rs. 1500 has to be paid for each objection. The exam conducting authority evaluates the objection and takes the final call.
The time period for raising objections is between
11 am on
1st December and
5 pm on
4th December.
Steps to raise an Objection:
1. Visit the official
CAT website (
IIM CAT)
2. Click the
Login button and enter your
User Id and
Password followed by the
Captcha and click
Login
3. Now click the
Objection Form tab and click
Click here to Raise Objection +
4. Now a new window with the title
Objection Form opens and
Instructions are displayed, read them thoroughly and click
Close.
5. In the form the
Shift (1/ 2/ 3) and the
Amount (1500) are filled by default.
6. Select the appropriate section on the
Section tab dropdown list.
7. Select the appropriate
Question ID of the question for which you wish to raise an objection from the list on the
Question ID tab.
8. In the
Nature of Objection tab select the type of your objection from the list as follows.
None of the options is a correct answer - If you feel that all the given options are incorrect.
More than one option is a correct answer - If you feel that two or more options from the given options are correct.
Answer Key is incorrect - If you feel that the answer considered as correct by the exam conducting authority is incorrect.
9. In the
Remark tab type in the reason for your objection.
10. If you have any supporting documents for your objection upload it by clicking
CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD in the Documents tab.
11. Recheck the given inputs and click
SUBMIT to submit your objection. You can submit only one objection at a time. To make a different objection repeat the same steps mentioned above.
To view the objections you have made:

Password followed by the
Captcha and click
Login
3. Now click the
Objection Form tab all the objections would be displayed below

4. To view any new objections made click
Click to Refresh
There are plenty of websites offering percentile predictor tools which can be used to get an idea of the final percentile (these predictions might vary with the actual percentile).
