
Registration for CAT has been initiated by the CAT Centre. Registration has started on
Wednesday, August 03 at 10.00 am, and will close on
Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 5.00 pm.
The CAT exam is being convened by IIM Bangalore this year. The exam will be held on
27th November, Sunday. The exam will be held for 2 hours in three sessions, like last year. The exam will consist of 3 sections of 40 minutes each. Prior to 2020, the CAT exam was a three hour exam held in two sessions.
The CAT exam will be conducted online across 150 cities. You will be allowed to choose up to 6 locations for taking the CAT exam. There will be an edit window open after the registration period to edit only the photograph, signature or test city preference.
Registration process: Candidates have to register on
https://iimcat.ac.in/ to fill the forms. They will have to update their personal details as well as education and work-experience details. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree (or in the final year of a Bachelor's degree) with at least 50% scores or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST or PWD candidates) are eligible to apply and take CAT.
The registration fee is INR 2300 (INR 1150 for SC, ST and PWD candidates), and can be paid by a debit card, credit card, wallet, etc. We recommend that you keep your academic scores handy before filling the forms. You will also need digital copies of your photograph and signature, as well as caste/EWS/PWD certificates, as applicable.
