Hey Atul, both FMS and the top IIMs have a great reputation of producing quality management leaders. They also require similar CAT scores for admissions to their flagship programs. But FMS boasts a high ROI - Return On Investment because of the low fee structure. It costs only 1.92 lakhs to complete a 2 year MBA from FMS Delhi, whereas it will cost between 24 lakhs to 28 lakhs for an MBA from any of the top three IIMs (A, B, C). But unlike the FMS the IIMs have very good infrastructure and also have student exchange programs where students can spend one academic term in foreign universities where they can gain international management exposure. Another significant difference is that FMS follows a semester system i.e. two academic terms per year and the IIMs follow a trimester system i.e. three academic terms per year.
