Achievements in competitions, elocution, debates, sports, dance, music, etc at recognisable levels will be valuable for your interview. Having an in depth understanding of you hobbies will also help you ace your IIM interviews.
The shortlisting criteria are a mix of CAT score (typically the highest weightage), academic scores, work experience and academic/gender diversity. Extra curricular activities will come up in the selection process and you should highlight your achievements. But other points such as your work experience, your academic performance and current affairs are also important and can help you sail through.
