I've failed in 12th examination and passed at the next attempt. Can i get in to IIM's ?

Hi Yaashika, you need to have scored 50% (or 45% for certain categories) to be eligible for CAT. A couple of IIMs place a higher weightage on your 10th and 12th scores, or have a minimum cutoff for these scores. But, most of the IIMs as well as other b-schools have the highest weightage for your CAT score for shortlisting as well as selection.

You can expect this to come up in your interview, so you should be able to explain this. As long as your CAT score is high and you deliver well in the WAT/Interview, you can definitely get through an IIM. All the best!
