Do read the course structure and get a sense of what you will be learning throughout your course and then decide the field in which you are planning to direct your career. You can also talk to people who are working in HR and other areas to get a sense of their work - this will help you decide if you want to make a career in HR or other areas such as Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, IT, etc.
