Why are CAT Parajumbles without options?

Hey Arjun, most of CAT's non-RC questions are TITA-based questions except for the summary questions. CAT has given more importance to the RC questions compared to the non-RC questions. But CAT non-RC questions give an opportunity to boost your marks as you can either get them right and obtain +3 marks or get them wrong and lose no marks. Due to their high reward - no loss ratio, CAT has decided to not give any options for the para jumbles and odd one out questions. Rest aside, I would suggest practicing a lot of past CAT papers to get a hold of the non-RC questions, also adopt strategies such as forming a sequence and identifying the first and last sentence. You can access the free PJ lesson at https://mockat.com/lesson/category/jumbled-paragraphs/ (please note that this is free at the time of writing and may be changed later)

Hope this answered your question. All the best for your CAT prep!!

Exams like XAT, Nmat have options for parajumbles. But CAT does not have. Does anyone know why? Also can someone tell me how to solve them without mistakes.
